Memphis artist, Kea Woods began her journey as a self taught artist of multiple medium at the age of 13. She has worked in both physical mediums and digital mediums, becoming her high school’s appointed Yearbook designer until she graduated in 2011. After setting most her life, she tried her hand in painting, finding a new way to express her ideas. Throughout college, she participated in Memphis’s annual “Cooper Young Art Festival”, capturing the attention of many through her incorporation of donated cloth material to bring these piece into the third dimension. This would help these pieces into the third dimension. This would help develop a personal relationship between the art and the viewer, giving the art and the artist a story to tell.
